About the Author:
Remy Styrk is an award-winning filmmaker, musician, and humanist with over 15 years of working experience – being named one of the 7 of the 2024 Whatcom Young Professionals Top 7 Under 40 awards.
Remy has worked with a range of companies from HBO and Microsoft to high schools, groups, and non-profits such as North Sound ACH and the Washington State Syndemic Planning Group, researching how people learn through storytelling, cultural anthropology, creative engagement, and designing custom programs. He founded and led the pilot year of the Omni Center at Northwest Youth Services – an accredited digital media studio for Black, Indigenous, and Brown young people.
